The Home App includes two controls when creating recipes for IKAWA green beans: Roast Degree and Development Time. Explore up to 30 different roasting combinations per coffee to create and achieve your favourite roasts.

Add IKAWA green beans using your in-app QR code scanner, quickly send roast recipes to your Roaster, or take your time to learn about the fascinating people and places that brought your chosen coffee to you!

ALL-NEW ROAST RECIPE DASHBOARDS
Roast recipes have taken a whole new role and meaning. This update closes the gap between the often confusing but critical way that your roast inputs impact the flavour of your final cup! Introducing:
- All-new roast recipe graph design.
- Dynamic guidance to expected flavours in acidity, body and bitterness.
- Expected roast stage timestamps.
- Introductions to each recipe from our coffee experts.

ALL-NEW RECIPE CUSTOMISATION CONTROLS
Tailored to each IKAWA green bean, we've introduced two new controls: Roast Degree (five levels across Light to Dark) and Development Time (Low, Medium, and High). This new, simplified way of creating your own recipes makes it possible to explore the many ways coffee can be roasted and enjoyed. Recipes update in real-time to show you expected flavours and roast stages. This is a first in the industry!

SUBSCRIPTION TO GRAPH EDITOR
For new users that want freestyle roast control, we have made roast graph editing available to new users as a paid-for subscription. The graph editor allows you to edit the roast recipe graph with 6 temperature points and 3 airflow points, across 12 minutes. It is available for free to existing customers that used their machine before this new release.

We've improved the editing functionality for roast recipes; it's easier to make more precise changes. Following user feedback, we've added the option set roast timer to count forwards, in addition to count down.

Improvements to this version of the app include improved User Account, cloud based back-up for your roast recipes across devices, new roast recipes including both espresso and filter roasts for Brazilian, Ethiopian and Kenyan coffees, refreshed design with better interface and many other features such as addition of Search function and roast time countdown.
